The Volcano, The Tornado, & The Hourglass is a 146-page book of nonfiction & fiction printed in a softbound edition of 500 hand-numbered copies, as well as made available in e-book format. Comprised of 156 pieces or sections, the work is an attempt at synthesizing a number of topics central to turn-of-the-century life here in the West, aiming for a certain comprehension albeit without aiming for comprehensiveness necessarily. Having a totality from disparateness was a goal formally, as life tends towards as much; a preview of the book’s opening pages follows.
